Play in the Public League

Don’t want to play the official game? That’s fine! You’re welcome to use our point system for your personal league. Unfortunately, we’re not going to be facilitating private leagues this year. I’ve got a full-time job and a part-time job, a husband recovering from a brain injury, plus twins in Kindergarten. I love y’all, but I also need to maintain my sanity. I would love to have anyone and everyone in the public league, though!

Bachelor League Point System: feel free to use as you see fit!

Live Scoring for every episode will be available to the public as well.

build your team

All players will build a team of four contestants to follow throughout the season.

Draft Part 1: The 30 Bachelors are divided into three groups of ten(ish). You will select one Bachelor from each group to add to your team. These groups are not random. There's a method to my madness, but I'll never divulge what it is. Actually, I totally will if you ask nicely.

  • Part One of the Draft will open at 10:00 AM ET on Monday, May 6:

    • All players signed up before the premiere of The Bachelorette (8:00 PM ET on Monday, May 13) may select three Bachelors before the season begins.

    • All players signed up between 8:00 PM ET on Monday, May 13 and 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 20 will have their first three Bachelors randomly assigned.

Draft Part 2: Add one additional Bachelor (who makes it through Night One) to your team.

  • Part Two of the Draft will open at 10:00 AM ET on Tuesday, May 14.

    • All players may select one additional Bachelor between 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14 and 8:00 PM on Monday, May 20.

    • Any players who do not make a selection by the cutoff will have their final Bachelor randomly assigned.

So that's it? I pick four players before Episode 2 and that's the end?

  • Hell no. Where's the fun in that? There's also a Mid-Season Draft after Episode 5. You can either (1) add a remaining Bachelor to your team for 50% of his points moving forward, or (2) opt for a one-time 300 bonus points. If you do not make a selection in the Mid-Season Draft, you will default to 300 bonus points.

  • Also, you will have the opportunity to receive Weekly Bonus Points (and prizes!) each week.

what will i get points for?

Your contestants will accumulate points each episode when they receive a rose, go on a date, cry, or say Bachelor cliches such as “amazing, journey, connection,” etc. I track all of the points for you, and points are tallied and posted in real time.

Bachelor League Bonus Points: Two opportunities to play bonus games again this season!

  1. Pre-Season Bonus: All confirmed players should complete the pre-season episode-by-episode questions before Episode 2. 25 points for each correct answer.  Bonus points will be updated after each episode.

  2. Weekly Bonus Games: Make your selections in our head-to-head Bachelorette Matchups - who will get more points than her opponent each week? You've heard of March Madness - this is Bach Sadness (™ Emily R.)!
