How does bachelor league work?
Colton’s season of The Bachelor will premiere on Monday, January 7.
Until then, learn more about how to play Bachelor League below.
Sign up to play
Don’t want to play the official game? That’s fine! You’re welcome to use our point system for your personal league. Unfortunately, we’re not going to be facilitating private leagues this year. I’ve got a full-time job and a part-time job, plus twins in Kindergarten. I love y’all, but I also need to maintain my sanity. I would love to have anyone and everyone in the public league, though!
Bachelor League Point System: feel free to use as you see fit! I will also be doing Live Scoring once the season begins in January. Stay tuned!
build your team
All players will build a team of four contestants to follow throughout the season.
Draft Part 1: The 30 Bachelorettes will be divided into three groups of ten. You will select one Bachelorette from each group to add to your team. These groups are not random. There's a method to my madness, but I'll never divulge what it is. Actually, I totally will if you ask nicely.
Part One of the Draft will open at 10:00 AM ET on Thursday, December 27 (this date is tentative):
All players signed up before the premiere of The Bachelor (8:00 PM ET on Monday, January 7) may select three Bachelorettes before the season begins.
All players signed up between 8:00 PM ET on Monday, January 7 and 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 15 will have their first three Bachelorettes randomly assigned.
Draft Part 2: Add one additional Bachelorette (who made it through Night One) to your team.
Part Two of the Draft will open at 10:00 AM ET on Tuesday, January 8.
All players may select one additional Bachelorette between 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 8 and 8:00 PM on Monday, January 15.
Any players who do not make a selection by the cutoff will have their final Bachelorette randomly assigned.
So that's it? I pick four players before Episode 2 and that's the end?
Hell no. Where's the fun in that? There's also a Mid-Season Draft after Episode 5. You can either (1) add a remaining Bachelorette to your team for 50% of his points moving forward, or (2) opt for a one-time 300 bonus points. If you do not make a selection in the Mid-Season Draft, you will default to 300 bonus points.
Also, you will have the opportunity to receive Weekly Bonus Points (and prizes!) each week.
what will i get points for?
Your contestants will accumulate points each episode when they receive a rose, go on a date, cry, or say Bachelor cliches such as “amazing, journey, connection,” etc. I track all of the points for you, and points are tallied and posted in real time.
Bonus Points: This season’s Bonus will be decided soon!
