JoJo's Bachelorette Blog (People)
The time Jordan spent with my dad was kind of hard to watch. Hearing Jordan question where I stood because there was still another man in the picture was hard. But I had been there with Ben, and I could understand that fear … I just never thought that it had been holding him back so much until that moment. That was also the only time Jordan would be able to speak with my family. That was the time he had to ask my father for his blessing in asking my hand in marriage. Looking back at how excited I was and how I had expected him to do it, it's hard to watch. Seeing how Jordan was struggling and still questioning, it's not easy.

The family visits are always so important. Half of it is to get the family’s blessing, but the other half is just to see how the bachelor or bachelorette feels sharing the love of a new suitor with their most-loved ones. Oftentimes, those are turning points, and I think how JoJo felt watching Jordan interact with her family was a big moment for her.
On After The Final Rose, I couldn’t help but notice JoJo seemed a tinge somber, but then again, Chris Harrison was insistent on grilling them almost exclusively about negative topics. She had a visible repulsion to discussing Aaron Rodgers and the “family feud” (which is more than understandable) but lit up when discussing the future. That inability to slap on a smile regardless was one of the many reasons I loved JoJo at the helm.
I had the chance to talk to Jojo about her final 4 guys right after she went on the hometown dates while she was filming the show. And I could just tell right away that Jordan was the guy for her. She talked about him with so much respect and love. She was (is!) smitten. As she was telling me about him she flipped through pictures on her phone to show me all the places the went together on the show so far. It was really sweet to see how in love she was. She talk about the other 3 guys too, but it was clear to me that Jordan was "the one." She told me they had insane chemistry and after watching them together on the show, I know exactly what she was talking about. Their chemistry has been obvious from the beginning.
Such a shame they're not really a couple we're rooting for, am I right Bachelor Nation?! I just DIDNT feel it! I didn't feel proposal and I didn't feel it as they sat a couple of yards away from me. Saying this may make it so JoJo and I can't ever really be friends. I want them to be happy and together, but I felt myself needing to almost fake smile in the audience because something was very much missing.
Having cried all of her Robby-related tears, a shoeless JoJo makes her way back to the Proposal Platform to await her high-haired Mr. Right. “I am crazy in love with him, and I am so ready,” she reports. “I am ready to say yes!”
JoJo starts her week of passion and questionable decisions in Phuket. She models no fewer than three rompers and maxidresses in this opening montage. Lil Baby JoJo is torn because she’s in love with two men and she knows she doesn’t want to say "I love you" just yet.
Seriously. JoJo brought the romper game with her to Phuket and she brought it hard. Her worst nightmare right now? Choosing between two great guys. My worst nightmare? That statement romper with the cold shoulders. Yikes.
JoJo’s mom tells JoJo that Jordan is “too likable” of a man, so clearly she doesn’t read US Weekly.
Possessionista (I seriously want that black maxi dress.)
Remember the old days when the remaining Bachelor contestants would make video messages for the Bachelor? There’s a moment of nostalgia in this finale, because while Jordan is waiting to meet with Neil Lane to pick out a $70,000 ring he didn’t pay for (because he doesn’t have a job) he pulls out his contraband cell phone to ask Dr. and Mrs. Fletcher if he can propose to Jojo and then writes her this super romantic letter.
Robby envisions their romantic future of overcooking meatloaf and spilling white wine all over themselves.
Jojo: Omg cool but I'd rather have box seats at the Super Bowl, you know?
