Yes, I went to a watch party with former contestants on Monday night.
Don't hate. It was ridiculously fun.

When you’re on the road it can feel like your routine is a little off. So, the morning before the group date, I challenged Chris Harrison to a run. We don’t actually see each other that much during filming, so it’s nice when we can find a quiet moment to catch up. We thought it would be more fun to run through the city than the gym. I mean it was a beautiful day and New Orleans is amazing, so why wouldn’t we want to explore? Four or so miles later, I think we were both ready to drop dead… not so much because we weren’t used to running a few miles a day, but we ended up getting a little lost. We had to backtrack and it ended up being a little more of a fiasco than expected. But all in all, I was able to get my workout in and see a little more of the city then I had anticipated!

Corinne played the game like a football coach, making her best defense an offense. She felt attacked by Taylor at the cocktail party in Wisconsin, and she led her time with Nick letting him know that she was afraid he was giving too much time and attention to a “bully.” Taylor, who obviously was totally taken aback by the accusations, seemed more bewildered than anything. It threw her off so much she didn’t even really have time to get her act together and explain her side of the story. Nick had to follow his heart and give a rose to someone, and he gave it to Corinne. Taylor did not take it well. Next week, we’ll see exactly what she has to say to Nick.

Raven and Nick have such easy and fun banter, so much so that, despite Raven accidentally slipping the “L” word this week, I’m starting to wonder if I’m getting borderline platonic vibes from these two. For now at least, I still feel like Nick is drawn to and bonds on a mental level with Raven in a really natural, known-each-other-for-years kind of way.
Don't miss Sharleen's full recap on her website too!
In my opinion, Raven saying “that was the moment I fell in love with you” was the most genuine way anyone has ever said those words for the first time on this show. It’s usually always SO forced and awkward. But I like that it just kind of slipped out. I think she meant to say that was the moment she “fell” for Nick, not fell in love.

I’m not sure how many more 'To Be Continued..." episodes Bachelor Nation can take. Sooner or later an episode needs to end with some resolution so the rosé in our stomachs can settle and WE CAN GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

Danielle M. lands the group date rose and ... I'm not feeling it?! Nick wasn't really looking at her during their alone time and while he was being touchy-feely affectionate with her, his body language read otherwise is positioned away from her. From what I see, they have zero connection. Can someone please tell me what I’m missing?!

Corinne, enjoy your pre-date rituals — bathing, eating enough food to sustain a junior varsity football team, and making up words.
No, but that’s OK — the Bachelor likes to mangle language too.
Close enough, I guess.

It’s time for the rose ceremony. Whitney gets the first rose. WHO IS WHITNEY? I will give someone $100 if they can tell me one interesting or notable thing Whitney has done. I’m not sure she’s a real person or just a projection of Nick’s type.
I Hate Green Beans by Lincee Ray
The girl who I thought was Whitney (Astrid) waltzes into the chilly night air. She’s going to be fine. Sarah the teacher, on the other hand, is dumfounded. She can’t seem to pull it together. How in the world did Nick choose the mean girl over her?
It’s called “producer’s pick.”

Finally, it’s time for the two-on-one, and Taylor and Corinne are wearing what I hope is the last thing in their suitcase, because if these are the outfits they picked for the most competitive date this season, neither of them is here to win it. Nick and his band of crazy bitches traipse the Bayou until they come upon a
producervoodoo princess who suggests that both women could benefit from a little therapytarot reading and introduce them to the show therapistreader.
TV Lust by Abby Draper
It’s Corinne’s turn with the reader, so Nick and Taylor spend some alone time together. Nick, who has done this before, shares Corinne’s concerns with Taylor and I’m pretty sure Taylor’s face validates that she’s thinking, “I hope I was here long enough to score a deal with FabFitFun.”
Reality Steve (SPOILERS!)
When they get in the house, some guy plucked out of the local New Orleans acting troupe to play a fake bartender gives all the ladies mint juleps, and tells them the story of Mae of the ghost that allegedly haunts the house. While all of us viewing realize this is complete BS, the whole story is made up, and Mae is probably just the name of one of the producers’ grandmas, the girls are acting like they buy it.
Corinne: You’re not a real mental health counselor!
Taylor: You’re not a real multimillion dollar business owner!
Me: Neither of these are legitimate careers or relationships!
I can totally get behind Corinne's prep for the two on one date. She puts on a mud mask, takes a bath, drinks champagne, and then orders copious amounts of room service. I guess after a lifetime of eating cucumber slices for lunch, it's only fair that she should finally get to eat five slices of cake and a plate of cheese pasta.
Meanwhile, Taylor decides to meditate and do aroma therapy. This is the moment I realize that I don't like Taylor. Initially, I was captivated by her beauty and the calm and collected way she confronted Corinne, but now I'm realizing that Taylor's a wet blanket.
