I'm really struggling with the pace of this season. We've been through four episodes, and we've had one rose ceremony. We've also had:
- A production shutdown
- A wedding
- A pregnancy announcement + ultrasound (which never needs to happen again, FYI)
- An interruption by Trump (for East Coasters/Central Zoners)
- For NYers, a football interruption
- Three separate sitdowns to discuss the shutdown (with two more to come!)
He's clearly telling me to throw in the towel on this season.

Just kidding. I'm in this for the next three weeks. We can do it, y'all.
So what happened?
Iggy, Alex, Vinny and Nick went home.
Adam, Dominique, and DLo showed up.
Dean was a douche.
Jorge's Tour-ges got some excellent publicity.
Benzie threw some rocks.

And Wells + Danielle M. did this:
...and that's basically all you need to know. Next week, we're getting more new contestants, more conflicts and triangles, and a sit-down with Corinne. Honestly, this is where I get really annoyed.
I realize that ABC is building a narrative and spinning it in their favor. I get it. I do. We're the pawns in this scenario. But the fact that DeMario told his version of the story (and received significant in-person support from castmates) a full week before Corinne - well, it just really worries me. Whatever Corinne has to say will be viewed as a response to DeMario's statement, when in reality, they were filmed the same night (Reality Steve says it was August 5). However, in the public mindset, DeMario's official story will have been a part of the public consciousness for a full week before Corinne even gets to say anything. That's not okay. Whether or not Corinne is a victim, a lot of people are, and I worry that others will refrain from seeking help after seeing this play out on national television. It's potentially really damaging.
Basically, this will be me next Tuesday:
